Selsey Lifeboat Station

Welcome to my home Town of Selsey. On the following pages you will find photos that are updated on a fairly regular basis   i.e. when time permits. I am not a professional photographer, just an enthusiastic amateur who would like to share some of the sights to be seen in and around Selsey.

Thank you for taking time to visit my web site. I trust the photos bring back happy memories of past visits to Selsey, and if you have never been to our town, maybe these pages will encourage you to call on us. The recent events down here show how tenuous existence is in Selsey, mainly because successive governments have failed to build adequate sea defences on the Medmerry beach (the west side of Selsey). Because of this we all live under the constant threat of our homes being flooded when we have a spring tide coinciding with a storm. Despite this, Selsey is a wonderful place to live with “friendly” natives, clean beaches and unpolluted air. I hope my photos convey a little of our life in Selsey.

For people who are interested the cameras used to take the photos are a Fuji S8000 fd and as a back up an Olympus C-350 zoom. In general my photos are compressed before adding to the web site. You are welcome to use the photos for personal use, however, should you consider using any material from this web site for commercial use I would appreciate an e-mail to arryclappers@tiscali.co.uk requesting permission. You can also contact me on the above e-mail address with your comments; I would like to hear from you.
